September 8th, 2008

Sometimes I swing with the sound of air, Sometimes I lost in the memories and Sometimes I Just insist to find ownself. Life is a big swirl for me, sometimes I’m here and in a next moment I’m not there. It’s nothing but walking on the sand where every wave wipes away the foot prints. My deeds are just like that. Everything I do is done and gone, remembered and forgotten.

My soul sometimes yells at me for bad karma I intentionally earned. My soul sometimes empathizes me but whatever, it’s me and I’ve to pay for every account.

When I look back, I don’t really find the purpose of my life but when I look forward, I see the purpose of my life. huh.. let me forget these boring philosophical thoughts of my boredom.

I’m pouring some of the old shots to fill my blog up with my boring stuffs.

Whenever, I get bore I’ll come back and try to understand this mood of mine, right now.. reading this same words again and again..

Sometimes when I look at myself taking pictures for no reason, I feel so stupid.

Hollywood terrain - I confess I didn’t see that charm when I was in Hollywood.

Time to buff up…

September 2nd, 2008

If people see me now than when they saw me three-four years ago, they’ll definitely say that I grew so thin and slim.  I was always concerned about my health and experimented with my body. To be true, I was in shape but ever since, I fell in someone’s relation, I didn’t have much time and all my workout routines went in vain. It’s my worst excuse but that’s the reality.

I don’t know What Was I Thinking? But this picture was taken today as soon as I pressed couple of push-ups followed

been busy..

September 2nd, 2008

Blogging is my passion but numberwise from 45 post average per month to barely 4 or 5 posts definitely do not prove my saying. I used to write 2-3 posts per day and sometimes, per month my posts number exceeded 60 posts too.  But all of a sudden I got so busy that now I don’t even have a time to drink water.  How would I take time to write posts? well.. right now, my system clock down below on the taskbar is reading 12:53 am and so far I think this is the perfect time for some writing.

Today, it was labor day in here. I don’t know what this labor day is all about and I don’t really bother to know either unless someone comes and humbly tells me a thing or two about it. Whatever, It was a holiday but I already fixed appointment two days ago for today. Thats kind of sub-contract work. It’s all to do with computer things, networking and blah blah blah. Every day, I learn new things for myself and that’s very good addition to my arsenal of computing know-hows. Today, I compiled a software for myself which would give access to remote surveillance cameras. Before it was as hard as breaking rock, and it never worked on Vista. Now, it’s few secs work, everything automated and I’m so proud of myself that I compiled a set of software. This software would allow me to connect to remote camera without any obstruction regardless of firewall and any other security softwares. The only thing is to set couple of things on the other end. That’s my job. Before, I had to go through all those darn steps before..which I was walked through by those damn company tech support people. Suck on them.

This morning I had to update couple of my clients sites. I did that. It’s really hard to keep up with the websites that you designed long time ago. What I do is, I keep a note on my notebook like password and other stuffs and main config file location etc. Eventually, I tend to forget things and that had created lots of problem in past. So, I usually keep a handy notebook for all those stuffs and I’m very happy that it has helped me a lot and saved my times.

Some of the other things, that I did for today is like I purchased some things online using my credit card. One of the guy from my bank told me that it’s good to make spending off the credit card to rise the credit score. Well, he was right, If I keep my credit card idle, that’s not gonna take me anywhere. So, to prove I’m a loyal loan taker, I had to use it and pay it back on time. That’s what I did.  I bought couple of whey protein jar, virility multivitamin supplements, 8 GB Kingston keychain flash drive, blue tooth ear phone for my father and so.

Few days back, I got some workout instruments, couple of dumbbells and weights. I know how to workout and I know how to max out my workout regimine just using those dumbbells. I had been through my days of being a workout freak. But, time doesn’t always favor, I had to quit then and now, I’m once again back and planning to build those bulging muscles which always drew attention.  It’s now two days, I started my home workout session. My muscle memory is getting back and I already started to feel that sensation of being big on my muscles. It would take only 2 or 3 weeks to get back to old state, that’s what I was taught because thats how our muscles response. I have to see how true is this thing. Whatever, lots of changes are going on my life and I’m really happy with it.

I’m eagerly waiting for some other stuffs to come by and make review on Nintendo DS too. Darn, I bought some things from dealextremedotcom. If you live in West, dont’ buy anything from them. They are headquarted in China and it always will take 30 days to get your things. Buy only from your local online shop. Number 1 lesson that I learned during the course of my online shopping. Whatever, as soon as that card arrives, I’ve to work on it and write a quick review.

Besides, ..(yaaawnnn..).. feeling sleepy…

My Nintendo DS

August 22nd, 2008

Couple of weeks ago, one headline caught my eyes on , and that was something which looked misinterpreted. I had this presumption that PSP was the most favored and the most sold handheld console. I couldn’t believe the pie-chart figure where PSP was somewhere in third position whereas Nintendo DS was the best seller handheld gaming device.

After some time spent on Google, I came to a conclusion, I should try this Nintendo DS somehow. So, a week ago, I ordered my Nintendo DS in blue-cobalt(my favorite color being blue for ever) color from Amazon and past 4-5 days, the package arrived. I was utterly disappointed to see nothing on it  to start with.  I paid $140 including shipping cost, thinking there were some demo games or stuffs on it to play with. It just came with the handheld device, stylus and charger. Not even a sample game or so. So, what? I watched myself on the mirror just like oblivious Mr. Bean would act numb(and that crackpot look) whenever he tries to cover his stupidity. huhhhh…that’s me now..

So, to make this thing work, I searched online and found the best deal on the cartridges to fit in. Without  further ado,  I  ordered and later I found that it would take 20 days for that thing to arrived herein Santa Cruz. The store I ordered was located in China and the Site almost looked like American-made(amazing hah..?). It was dealextremedotcom. I paid $56 for 2GB N-CARD game card. It’s now just 6 days since that order.

My excitement was growing, I was playing with this Nintendo DS .. huh.. just turn it on and off , set date/times, check hardware features.. what else. I just didn’t want to spend on $30 for one single game. During mingling with this and that, i made a slight scratch on the touch screen with the stylus pen.

The very next moment, I was checking Amazon for protective layers and other stuffs. After spending some 30 minutes, I ordered Protection cover costing $12(Officially approved by Nintendo, that’s what they said) and a fancy ear plug for $14. Must be en route since my order 3 days ago.

I couldn’t wait any further, I just didn’t want to wait for that Chinese thing to come after 10-15 days. I was looking for local people on craigslist but they were selling stuff at the same retail rate. So, why not buy from online retail with warranty covered. I found one located in California after few searches online and I ordered another game card from r4dsusadotcom . This time it is 2 GB R4 DS Revolution card for my DS. It should reach me within next 3-4 days. Better than being on 10-15 days waiting list. I would swap them
once I get both of them. So, no problem. I paid some $39 for this one including shipping cost.

So, I spent $251 altogether for my Nintendo DS thing. The other vital parts haven’t reached me yet. Once I collect them all, I’m gonna hack this device to the most.

Proprietary Nintendo DS system wouldn’t allow you to use GAME ROM downloaded from Internet. It’s illegal in their words, May be or may be it’s their business strategy.

I felt I got tricked when I bought Nintendo DS coz it didn’t even include a sample game. I was so bothered that I made my mind not to buy any of their retailed game cards(title) at all. Thats what led me to buy modded gamecard which holds MicroSD as storage and can actually load it’s own Operating System and play downloadable NDS games.

Just waiting…

Once things are here, I’m gonna convert this system into:

Portable Media(Video/Music) player
Phone Device
Internet Browser
and more…
Not just a gaming device as what most people think.

Will post in detail on main blog www.meroguff.com about all operation that I’m gonna do onto my Nintendo DS in coming days.

Ellen and Portia: Two Women wedded

August 19th, 2008

It’s now no more surprise to embrace the fact that California government passed the same-sex marriage law. But, when I heard this news couple of months back, it was the hot topics for gossip. I don’t understand why and how for this.

Even if Government approved this law in the name of human rights and personal freedom, definitely, it’s something against the nature’s law when same-sex body mates with another same-sex body. Nobody is made to have sex that way. Nature hasn’t made us that way to reproduce offspring to lead the generations of genealogy and live on this planet. Fusion of penis and vagina leads the family tree, not penis and penis or vagina and vagina.

When I recall reading the old sayings or say predictions of great prophets, the end of human civilization is nearing. How could a family be formed if they can’t reproduce, only think of adopting. What if there is no one left to have sex with opposite sex. This is definitely not a good omen.

Now, when I research and try to figure out what makes people to fall for same sex, then obviously, it’s the imbalance of chromosomes or whatever it is ; which makes them overcome their physical attributes with the opposite sex qualities. Man behaving like a girl and woman behaving like a man is a very common thing. Even more when boy dresses up like a girl and girl walks like a boy to cover up their real identidy, they can’t hide what they are. It’s because that’s what they are. And, I can’t say Mr to Miss and Miss to Mr. I know they like when they are summoned that way which I personally think is crazy stuff for me to do. This doesn’t mean I hate them or disregard them as entity like other extremist conservatives do, but I feel sorry for them, because they are made that way.

And, some of the findings that I read even left me stunned. Hetros(hetero) can turn homos anytime during their lifetime. So, it isn’t really a chromosome stuffs too. You know? What could’ve gone wrong with this people. Did some alien sprayed something on this people or some evil spelled the magic on human kind to be doomed.. just my surreal thoughts.

Ellen and Portia on their wedding

Well, Ellen and Portia are hotcakes in news these days herein California. News paper and media is covered with their sensational marriage news. Both of them are females. They recently got married and too shocking to believe, they are very rich people and popular media figures. Now, when they lead a new culture, it’s obvious all gay/lesbian and homo cult must have admired them for what they did publicly.

My verdict: No offense, this is definitely not a good thing happening.

All women are bitches and all men are sons of bitches

August 14th, 2008

There is nothing wrong with this blog title of mine. It is a true statement. If you see and look around your own neighborhood corner, you’ll find enough incidents and happenings to prove this above blog title to be true. May be not all, but 99.99% are bitches whereas 99.99% are sons of bitches. If you ask me about myself, well , that’s a secret and I don’t mind any accusations either.

Don’t feel offended if you are reading this. This is just a part of study which I came to read on the pop up screen just after signing into my hotmail account to check some random emails. Someone really scrutinized the fact why both bitches and sons of bitches cheat each other. I’m putting the content ditto as below(thought interesting) which emphasizes why women are bitches(with that written, there are very few women whom I really adore and respect, they fall into 0.01 % category. This post shall not create any discomfort to them if read):

Reason #1: There’s no passion
“I had been with John for about three years—he was a really nice guy, and I enjoyed being with him, but there wasn’t a ton of passion. Most everyone we knew had gotten engaged, and though John would have proposed in a second, whenever he brought it up, I’d change the subject. I took a trip to Australia for work, and while I was gone, I got together with a co-worker to whom I’d always been insanely attracted. I had a fantastic trip, probably because for the first time in a long time I experienced that excitement I’d been missing. I broke up with John soon after I returned home, and began dating the guy from the trip. Even though I’m not super-proud of my actions, things ended up for the best: After dating for a few years, the guy from the trip and I got married, and we’re incredibly happy together.”
– Giselle, 30, Montvale, NJ

Reason #2: To delay a breakup
“Right before I was going to break up with my ex, Sean, he found out that he had to put his beloved dog to sleep. He was so broken up about it that I didn’t have the heart to end things, so I waited a month or so until he was in better shape. When things seemed to be better and I was ready, he lost his job, so I felt like I was back to square one! By that time, I had met someone else that I really wanted to start seeing, so I went ahead and did it. I eventually ended things, never telling Sean about my extra-curricular dating. I think I rationalized that I was trying to spare his feelings.”
– Stacy, 30, Lexington, KY

Reason #3: Because absence doesn’t make the heart grow fonder
“My boyfriend Greg and I decided to do the long-distance thing after I was accepted to a graduate program 200 miles from where we lived. The first few months were fine, but I soon found myself becoming extremely attracted to my lab partner, Henry. What began as innocent flirting eventually wound up with us in bed. After the program was over, I returned home to Greg. Being with him was really difficult, but I didn’t break up with him initially because I was still attracted to him, too. I visited Henry a few times, and realized that he was really more of a fling, probably born out of boredom, and that Greg was the one for me. I eventually stopped communicating with Henry. I never told Greg about what happened, which occasionally makes me feel guilty, but I chalk my cheating up to being young and silly. He and I are still together, four years since my program ended.”
– Tamara, 33, Portland, OR

Reason #4: So she’s not left out in the cold
“I began dating Eric shortly after I had been dumped by Dave, my boyfriend of two years. I was devastated and Eric was definitely a rebound thing. After Eric and I had dated for five months, Dave came back and wanted to give things another shot. I still really missed him, so I began seeing him, but never ended things with Eric. I think I sort of kept Eric around for insurance purposes, just in case things didn’t end up well with Dave. Dave and I didn’t make it on round two, and after Eric discovered through mutual friends that I had been seeing him again, he ended things with me. I definitely learned my lesson about dating two guys at the same time, not to mention trying to rekindle a relationship that’s just plain over.”
– Jen, 28, Oak Park, IL

Reason #5: She deserves better
“When I was younger, I dated a guy named Ethan who was really critical of me. He constantly made little snide comments about my weight, how stupid I was and how clumsy I was. For whatever odd reason, I was into him, despite the fact that all of my friends and family hated him. One weekend when he was away, I met Will at a party and we completely hit it off. He was the complete opposite of Ethan—kind, sweet and generous, yet completely cool and fun, too. We hung out all weekend and it was like a light bulb went off in my head: This is how mature, relationship-worthy guys act. I hooked up with Will the night before he left, and broke up with Ethan soon after. Will and I dated for three years and now we’re married.”
– Allison, 30, New York, NY

Reason #6: She’s looking for a missing piece
“I’m from Florida, so I adore going to the beach and boating, but my former boyfriend, Chris, a total city boy, hated it. We always argued about where we’d take trips, and he always won. About eight months into our dating, I took a trip to Key West with my friends and we chartered a boat for the day. The captain of the boat was this totally hot, complete ‘beach guy for life’ type, and I spent the whole day flirting with him. We met him out that night, and he and I got together. I never told Chris about it after I got home and I never felt guilty; I think part of me felt like that’s what Chris got for being so stubborn! Chris and I didn’t make it, and after we broke up, I made sure any future boyfriends loved the beach!”
– Lizzie, 32, Chicago, IL

Reason #7: To give him a taste of his own medicine
“My last boyfriend was a total player before we got together. I thought I could change him, but I was wrong. I always heard rumors that he was hooking up with other girls while we were dating, but he always denied it. One night, I got a call from a girl he had been seeing, and she detailed their three-month-long relationship to me and told me about another girl she had discovered he was seeing as well. I was so mad that I went out with my friends that night, dressed to kill, and went home with the hottest guy I could find; I felt like it was the least he deserved! I loved seeing the look on his face when I told him about what I did and that I knew about the other girls. And then I dumped him!”
– Ashante, 25, College Park, GA

Reason #8: There’s something lacking in the physical department
“My ex was a terrible kisser—the worst! I really liked everything else about him, but whenever it came time to get physical, I just cringed. One night when I was at a party without him, a bunch of people started this old-school, yet fairly intense game of spin the bottle, and I felt like I had to join, as I hadn’t had a decent kiss in a long time! I probably kissed about 10 guys that night, all of whom were so much better than my ex. I ended things pretty quickly after that experience, which made me realize that the physical part of a relationship is truly important.”
– Marnie, 26, San Francisco, CA

No offence.

Facts most people don’t know about Tibet

August 12th, 2008

1. The invasion of Tibet began in 1949. Chinese occupation has resulted in the death of over one million Tibetans, the destruction of over 6,000 monasteries, nunneries and temples, and the imprisonment and torture of thousands of Tibetans.

2. The Dalai Lama, Tibet’s political and spiritual leader, fled Tibet in 1959 to Dharamsala, India, followed by over 100,000 Tibetans and established the Tibetan Government-in Exile. In 1989, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for a steadfast dedication to non-violence.

3. Tibet, before occupation, was a nation with an established sovereign government, currency, postal system, language, legal system, and culture. Prior to 1950, the Tibetan government also signed treaties with foreign nations. The Chinese government claims that Tibet has always been part of China, yet its invasion of Tibet resembles imperialist aggression that China accuses other powers of exhibiting.

4. The “Tibetan Autonomous Region” (TAR) is not Tibet, nor is it autonomous. The Chinese government has divided historical Tibet into one region and several prefectures and counties, with the TAR encompassing only the central area and some eastern regions of Tibet.

5. The basic freedoms of speech, religion, and assembly are strictly limited, and arbitrary arrests continue. There are currently hundreds of political prisoners in Tibet, enduring a commonplace punishment of torture.

6. The Chinese government increasingly encourages Han Chinese to migrate to Tibet, offering them higher wages and other inducements. This policy is threatening the survival of Tibetan people. Tibetans are becoming a minority in the TAR. Yearly, thousands of Tibetans still flee from Tibet, making the treacherous journey over the Himalayas into a world of exile.

7. Historical Tibet was a vast country, with an area roughly equal to Western Europe. Tibet is the source of five of Asia’s largest rivers, which provide water for two billion people. Tibet’s fragile environment is endangered by Chinese strip-mining, nuclear waste dumping, and extensive deforestation.

8. The Chinese government claims to have “developed” Tibet, with “developments” mainly benefiting the new majority Chinese, not Tibetans. China, neglecting education and healthcare, has spent millions of dollars building infrastructure; many roads, buildings, and power plants directly support heavy militarization, allowing China to maintain Tibet as a police state.

9. The Chinese government aggressively seeks foreign investment for its “Go West” campaign, with use of these international funds to develop Tibet as a resource extraction colony and consolidate regional control. Foreign investments in Chinese companies legitimise China’s colonisation and exploitative projects that harm Tibet.

10. The United Nations and international community have done very little to address the core issue of China’s illegal occupation of Tibet. China represents an enormous market and cheap labour force, and its associated businesses have such a strong lobby that officials are reluctant to take substantive measures. Since western countries adopted policies of so-called “constructive engagement” with China in the 1990s, the human rights situation in Tibet has only deteriorated.

My dogs

August 8th, 2008

Tiger and Sherus. These are my dogs and I miss them a lot. After taking care of them for just 1 and half year, I had to leave them. For one month, my dreams were haunted with their pictures.  But now, it’s not the case like that but still I do miss them a lot.

The following video was taken when I was getting ready to walk them out. First I walk Sheru because, if I walk Tiger first, he would get paranoid and creates disaster when we’re not there. But being Big brother of Sheru, Tiger doesn’t mind even if I walk out Sheru first. So, Sheru is first at meal, walk outs and plays. Pretty much he’s bit pampered and spoiled.
The Video is focused to Tiger while as one can see Sheru is sleeping and being lazy.

This video is accompanied by the song ‘Yeh dosti’ which means ‘Our friendship’.
